Camp Pelosi

CODEPINK had camped out in front of Cong. Nancy Pelosi's house March 10th through 23rd (otherwise known as "Camp Pelosi") to encourage the speaker to be a leader and stop buying Bush's war.  We had hoped to keep the vigil on-going until the vote on the Emergency Supplemental (war funds) came to the floor of the House of Representatives, but we were told to take down the camp by the San Francisco police. Read Camp Pelosi from ABC News, San Francisco Chronicle, the New York Times and other News & Analysis here.  Right now we plan to hold a vigil on the weekend.

The vigil is at Pelosi's house at 2640 Broadway (between Scott & Divisadero) in San Francisco.  Call 415.260.1120 to reach activists Leslie and Toby for detailed information.

On Sunday April 1st, CODEPINK held a tea party at Pelosi's house. Read about the party Fog City Journal, Monterey County Herald and KCBS.
