CODEPINK TO TAKE DIRECT ACTION IN SENATE For Embargoed Release: March 29, 2007 12:00pm WHAT: CODEPINK: Women for Peace to hold a "banner drop" inside the Hart Senate Office Building. CODEPINK has been engaged in a campaign calling on Congress to quit funding the Iraq War and to bring the troops home now. The banner will illustrate the cost to human life that the will occur before the August 2008 projected withdrawal date from Iraq.
