Sam Deer is the National Grassroots Coordinator for CODEPINK and a recent Saint Mary's College graduate. After earning her Bachelor's degree in Politics, Sam has eagerly applied her studies to the active pursuit of global peace and social justice. While studying abroad in Rome, Italy for a year, she took courses on human rights and gained a new appreciation for the international community (as well as Italian food and culture). Aside from working at CODEPINK, Sam teaches ESL to immigrants from Latin America. She currently lives in San Francisco, CA. She can be reached at sam[at]codepink.org.
