A letter from God

Dear Mujeres of Code Pink and all your supporters,

Greetings, my daughters. Just this morning as I was doing my kaegles, I was thinking about Code Pink and your stellar, courageous liberation movement and I said to myself, "Damn those women rock!!!! I want to write them a letter." So here it is:

First and foremost, I would like to say a deep, heavenly thank you from my Corazon for all you have done and do for the liberation of all our people all over the planet earth.  I need to say that Code Pink is one of my very, very favorite peace and social justice liberation movements.

Thanks for your brilliance, your creativity, courage and non-violent resistance! Gracias for all that you do and here is some specific recognition for a few examples of the multitude of your good works. Thanks for issuing those pink slips of termination, especially the one |you gave to G.W. Gracias for protesting and exposing the insanity, greed and inhumanity of the war in Iraq. A huge thank you for defending and exercising free speech with your multiple acts of courage, and for putting your safety and bodies on the front lines all over the world in the name of social justice. Gracias for exposing and fighting sexual harassment and hatred against women! Thank you also for the current work on exposing the election fraud!

Speaking of exposure, let me once and for all clear up those rumors that the pope is gay. Yes, the pope is gay and his closet is very deep and plush and lined with the most beautiful fancy white brocade I have ever seen. Don¹t worry about the pope. So my daughters of Code Pink, here are some things I would like you to consider doing:

Please love yourselves and each other and do a ton of self-care and deep resting.

Trust and listen deeply to each other without judgment.

Also cry freely and celebrate and dance because without these acts of l loving yourselves and each other you may burn and fry and those lie-telling Diablos in the Casa Blanca would just love that, would they not?

On the topic of love I want to say that you can always decide to love. Against all your fears, against all your discouragements, against all the impossibility of doing anything, you can love and I believe that this is at the core of our survival and the successful resistance of all oppression.

Remember to keep your eyes and memory on all you have accomplished. Do not allow yourselves to feel badly about yourselves or each other. There are no failures here! You are good, good, good people and your work is having huge positive impact on the planet and all its people! Please don¹t ever forget this.

Also know that I am completely pleased with each and every one of you and everything about you!!!!!!!!!!! I support you 100% and so do my | comadres and compadres here in heaven who send their love. A few of them are Harriet Tubman, Frida Kahlo, Audré Lourde, Cesar Chavez, Emma Goldman, Mother Teresa, Sor Juana de La Cruz, Malinche, |Sojourner Truth, Rosa Parks, Martin Luther King Jr and many more too numerous to mention.

Mujeres of Code Pink, please do not ever give in to the temptation to stop!!!.  Your work is vital to every living human being and to the new generations that are on their way. You rock, Code Pink!

Love, God
