Ann Wright speaks on Gaza, tunnels, delegation on GRITtv

(Retired) Col. Ann Wright gave an amazing interview to Laura Flanders on GRITtv this morning, describing her trip to Gaza last week with Medea Benjamin and LA activist Tighe Barry. She discusses waiting on the Egyptian border with engineers and doctors, meeting with aid groups there and witnessing the damage and the devastating effect of Israel’s blockade. She also discussed the several hundred tunnels from Egypt to Gaza still left intact, even though they all could have easily been destroyed. And she does it all quite sassily and smartly.     The key to end this war is women. ISRAELI WOMEN that are already commited to the peace movement. WHERE ARE THEY? In your next trip – don’t go just to Gaza. Jewish women and muslim women and christian women have been meeting for many years through this peace group.

    JUST LIKE THE WOMEN IN LIBERIA ( show them the film to give them courage!) THEY MUST WALK TO THE GAZA STRIP AND UNITED SIT THERE UNTIL THEY SIGN A PEACE TREATY.

    THE ISRAELI ARMY WILL NOT SHOOT AGAINST THEIR OWN WOMEN AND MOTHERS.
