TAKE A STAND - MoveOn sponsored August 28, 2007 CODEPINK Tallahassee with Florida For Peace Tallahassee, FL

	CODEPINK Tallahassee joined MoveOn and others for a candlelight vigil at the Old Capitol, downtown Tallahassee. WE made sure everyone had a PINK tape with the number of soldiers we have lost on their shoulder. MoveOn sponsored a nationwide effort to bring groups together to TAKE A STAND - contact congress to stop the war and stop funding the war. Carol (MoveOn, CODEPINK Tally), Cactus Pat and Mary (Tallahassee Network for Justice and Peace) and Su Ecenia (Tallahasseans Who Believe It's Time To Come Home) brought candles, a sign up table, luminaries and signs. Many other local activist groups joined and it was a real great turn out for the Tallahassee area. We even had a drive over from Pensacola.
