A Town Hall Meeting organized by 50 community groups called on Maine citizens to speak up about the war, economy, health care and the environment. CODEPINK Maine Local Coordinator Lisa Savage spoke against military recruiters using public school time and other resources to lure young people into enlisting. Congresswoman Chellie Pingree was on hand to listen, as were staff reps for Maine's other congressional delegates, and Maine's governor. Several Maine legislators were also in attendance.
