CODEPINK Pittsburgh held its 6th annual Mother's Day vigil. Julie Ward Howe's Mother's Day Proclamation was read by members. This year's speaker was Regina Bircham, past President of The Women's International League of Peace and Freedom. Regina traveled to Gaza with Codepink in March of this year and shared her experiences there. The corners of Forbes and Braddock avenues were aglow with pink candles. |
